US artist Heather Hansen is unlike most painters, because instead of brushes and paints, she uses charcoal and her own body to create paintings. To paint a picture, Heather lays out a huge canvas on the floor, sits or lies down on it, and with the help of smooth dance movements begins to paint.
Each painting by Heather is unique and corresponds to the mood of the dance and the artist. Unlike many other artists, Heather does not hide from everyone in her studio while creating the next masterpiece, but, on the contrary, allows everyone to watch the unusual process of drawing new paintings.

According to the artist, she puts her soul into all her works, so they turn out to be surprisingly emotional, despite the fact that there are no people on whose faces one can notice any manifestation of emotions. Most of Heather’s paintings are in black and white, but sometimes she adds a splash of color with colored charcoal. You can see more of the artist’s work on her website.
