It will be held from April 25 to 28 at the Kamchatka Regional Scientific Library named after. S. P. Krasheninnikova.

The exhibition is timed to coincide with the celebration of Orthodox Book Days in Kamchatka. This year its main themes will be family and family values.

The exhibition will feature more than 1,000 books: patristic literature, fiction and journalism, philosophy, books for children and teenagers, life advice for everyday life and much more.

“On the closing day of the exhibition, April 28 at 12:30, a festive program will be held in the library assembly hall: a solemn prayer service, a festive concert “Faith. Family. Fatherland” with performances from Sunday schools, book presentations, literature reviews, excursions to the exhibitions “The Unknown World of Faith” and “The Roads of Metropolitan Nestor”, master classes on bell ringing, Church Slavonic reading, calligraphy and arts and crafts. In addition, guests will be able to visit the icon painter’s workshop and appreciate the exhibition of children’s drawings “The Beauty of God’s World”,” she said Olga Burtseva, employee of the Kamchatka Regional Scientific Library named after. The main goal of the event is to attract public attention to the problem of spiritual and moral education, develop interest in literature, and promote family reading.
