The literature was purchased within the framework of the national project “Culture”, initiated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Books for the future model library were delivered to Kamchatka. Now they are being prepared for transfer to the children’s library of the city of Elizovo, where they are being re-equipped according to the model standard as part of the national project “Culture”.

Funds for replenishing the book fund were also received from the federal budget under the national project. Thanks to funding, the library acquired about 3 thousand copies of literature.

“These are artistic classics and books by modern authors for children and adolescents, educational and educational literature, reference books, fairy tales, poems and books for children with disabilities,” explained the inter-settlement centralized library system of the Elizovsky district.

A model library based on the children’s library in Yelizovo will open this fall. It will become the second library converted to the model standard in Yelizovo and the sixth model in Kamchatka.

Let us remind you that there are now 5 libraries with “model” status serving readers on the peninsula. These are libraries in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Elizovo, Esso, Ust-Kamchatsk and Vilyuchinsk. In total, as part of the modernization under the national project, they purchased about 9.5 thousand copies of new literature.

We would like to add that the national project “Culture” has been implemented in the country since 2019 on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Within its framework, municipal libraries are modernized according to the model standard, including updating and replenishing the book collection.
