A new national automobile brand, Very, will appear in Turkey; the company will begin mass production of electric cars in 2025. This was reported by the Turkish newspaper Dünya.
Under the Very brand they will produce a line of L7 class electric cars (heavy quadricycles). The electric car received an original design developed by Yildiz Technical University, as well as a motor and batteries of its own design. It is expected that the cost of the electric car will be $25 thousand.
As the developers of the electric car said, the maximum battery capacity of the electric car will be 33 kilowatt-hours, and the range on one charge will be about 300 km. A car production plant is planned to be built in Gemlik, a district of Bursa province. At the first stage, it is planned to produce up to 10 thousand Very electric vehicles per year and supply them to countries in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
TOGG became the first national Turkish car brand. The electric car went into production at the end of 2022, and went on sale in the spring of 2023. The cost of TOGG machines varies from $48.5 thousand to $63.9 thousand.
