Sales of the new Chinese JAC T9 pickup truck for 4.5 million rubles have been launched in the Russian Federation

Another model from the Middle Kingdom has unofficially appeared on the Russian car market in the pickup category – the 2023 JAC T9. This imported car, presumably imported under the “parallel import” scheme, is offered for the amount of 4,499,000 rubles.

In terms of size, the JAC T9 is slightly larger than the new Sollers ST6, the diesel version of which has just appeared on the market: the length and width of the JAC T9 are 5330 mm (+15 mm) and 1830 mm (+135 mm), respectively, and the wheelbase is 3400 mm.

The car is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 231 hp, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

According to the seller, the maximum configuration includes a leather interior, climate control, sunroof, all-round camera, parking sensors, wireless charging, electrically adjustable seats, “winter package” and other options.

It is interesting to note that in China, such pickups, like many other models of Chinese cars, are sold at about half the price. The initial version is offered there for 131,800 yuan (1.63 million rubles), and the top version for 194,800 yuan or 2.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate.
