The Seven conceptual crossover from Hyundai’s premium sub-brand, presented in 2021, which should become the largest in the Genesis line and, accordingly, the most expensive, is close to its commercial incarnation.
A few days ago, another spy photo of this model was leaked onto the Internet. Using them as a basis, independent designers imagined what the car would look like in the production version.
Automotive artists from the NYMammoth studio have published a rendering of a production crossover, which is expected to be named Ioniq 7.
Judging by the first images of the car, it will get the pixel optics that the 2021 show car had, but in a slightly modified form. Instead of one line running under the hood, the “Seven” will have two rows of LEDs on the sides, and the bumper will have a more complex shape.
The wheel arches and sills will get black plastic trims, and retractable handles will appear on the doors.
The length of the car will exceed 5 meters, the width will be almost 2 meters, and the height will be 1.7 meters.
What to expect from the equipment of the new Ioniq is a mystery. The only thing that is known for certain is that the car will be built on the E-GMP platform, which is capable of supporting charging power up to 350 kW. The estimated range of the “seven”, according to the calculations of journalists from South Korea, is more than 500 kilometers.
The new premium Korean electric crossover will go on sale in 2024.
