Mini has expanded its electric lineup by presenting the world with a new product – the Aceman, which is located between the Cooper and Countryman models. The new electric car stands out for its fresh concept and design, but it remains unknown whether it will be offered on the American market, reports SPEEDME.RU. The Aceman is available in two versions: E and SE. The E version is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 184 hp, which accelerates the car to “hundreds” in 7.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 159 km/h, thanks to a 42.5 kW/h battery. The SE version is more powerful than its predecessor – 218 hp and a 54.2 kWh battery, the car accelerates faster by 0.8 seconds and reaches speeds of up to 170 km/h. Mini says the base E model can travel up to 310km on a single charge according to European standards, while the powerful SE will travel up to 405km. The Aceman design includes the octagonal grille typical of Mini models, but with new design elements , namely LED daytime running lights and taillights, which are customizable in three different scenarios. In addition, the model is equipped with flat door handles and a sloped rear window, which improves aerodynamic qualities, as well as matte black side sills, giving the car a more aggressive look. Aceman will be offered in four trim levels: Essential, Classic, Favored and JCW, with Classic and higher versions equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel instead of the standard two-spoke one. Pricing for the new model has not yet been announced, and production is scheduled to begin later this year.
