The Graviton company, a Russian manufacturer of computer equipment, announced the start of production of a new generation of solid-state drives.

These devices, ranging in size from 256 GB to 2 TB, are registered in the register of domestic products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and are intended for use in the company’s products.

New SSD drives of the M.2 2280 format with a PCIe Gen3×4 NVMe interface are suitable for computers, monoblocks and Graviton laptops, as well as for working with Russian operating systems. They have data read speeds of up to 2400 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1700 MB/s. Peak performance for random read and write operations reaches 295 thousand and 430 thousand operations per second, respectively.

The drives are equipped with a Phison E13T bufferless controller and TLC 3D NAND memory from Kioxia with 112 layers, which corresponds to the reference PCB design. Graviton emphasizes that the production of drives is entirely carried out in Russia and they are intended for internal use in the company’s devices.

Additionally, the drives feature end-to-end data protection technology that maintains their integrity throughout their entire service life. Their durability is also guaranteed by the overheating protection system, self-diagnosis and SmartECC condition monitoring functions.
