Theater and film actor Vyacheslav Grishechkin has passed away. The Honored Artist of Russia died at the age of 62. Grishechkin’s death was reported by his colleague, artist of the Moscow South-West Theater Anton Belov on the VKontakte social network.
A week before his death, Grishechkin found himself in a hospital bed due to heart problems, KP notes.
Over the years of his film career, Vyacheslav Grishechkin played roles in 167 films. He is best known for the TV series “Soldiers”, “Kamenskaya”, “Happy Together” and “Brigade”. He also served at the Theater in the South-West from its founding, worked at the RAMT, headed the Volzhsky Drama Theater, and directed the theater studio at the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to KP, the actor planned a charity tour in St. Petersburg in mid-September, but canceled after purchasing tickets due to poor health.
