Many fans decided that the Fallout series answers the long-standing question of who was the first to launch a nuclear strike. Showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet commented on the information.

In the show, you can see how representatives of Vault-Tec, together with other large American corporations, are planning to start a nuclear apocalypse, which, as some viewers decided, is the main theory about what happened. To strike first would mean gaining a monopoly on both the Vaults and the government of the country.

According to Wagner, you should not take any plot twist as truth.

We still have a lot to tell. I wouldn’t take anything as an absolute because, again, everything shown is subjective. This scene took place. But what happened between her and the bombs falling… I can say that we are planning a lot of interesting things between now and the final moment.

The Fallout series based on the video game universe of the same name premiered on April 11. It received high praise from critics. The show’s rating on IMDb is 8.6 out of 10, and on Kinopoisk – 8.1 out of 10.
