Today is the 51st anniversary of the wife of the famous public figure, actor and director Ivan Okhlobystin, Oksana Arbuzova.
In an interview for the information portal aif.ru, Ivan Okhlobystin shared his memories of how he met Oksana and began dating her.
Recalling a wonderful meeting that took place in the era of the 90s, immediately after he completed work on the film “The Arbiter,” Ivan spoke about his first look at Oksana.
His attention was attracted by the actress, who had already captivated the audience with her participation in the film “Accident – the Cop’s Daughter.”
It turned out that at that moment Oksana was in the cafe of the House of Cinema, surrounded by two bearded gentlemen, because they had just taken part in the play “Three Sisters” based on Chekhov.
Passing by, Ivan took his fate in his hands and said: “You will be mine!”
According to Okhlobystin, he subsequently offered Oksana a romantic trip around Moscow at night.
Driving a motorcycle, wearing shorts, braided shoelaces and a brightly decorated vest, he took his beloved home.
The promise turned out to be more serious than expected, and Oksana remained with him until the third child was born (there are six children in total in their family).
This unexpected turn was the key to Oksana’s realization that she had nowhere else to “go.”
Ivan Okhlobystin attributes his meeting with Oksana to the grace of God, because some of his acquaintances managed to get married and divorced more than once, while others remained single.
According to the director, many years ago he and Oksana got married, and for them it became a symbol of unity.
He noted that by the time he met his future wife, the desire to start a family and have children was ripening in his heart.
This morning, a touching photo of him and Oksana appeared on Ivan Okhlobystin’s page on the social network, accompanied by the caption: “Happy birthday, my love!”
