The NTV channel decided to congratulate Leonid Kanevsky on his anniversary with a unique gift.
On May 2, the channel will devote a whole day to the legendary actor. Viewers will be shown the most significant works of the Honored Artist of the RSFSR, including the first episode of the film adaptation of “The Three Musketeers” (08:25) and the series “Semin. Retribution” (01:20).
The program will also include the popular show “The Investigation Conducted…” (15:00) and a documentary about Leonid Kanevsky called “People’s Artist” (22:00).
In addition, at 23:40 a special episode of the NTV Apartment House at Margulis program will appear on the screen, where the TV presenter himself will share his observations from life and perform several famous songs.
The artist will be congratulated by stars of Russian show business, including Larisa Dolina, Alexander Rosenbaum, Igor Vernik and others.
Leonid Kanevsky is an outstanding Soviet and Russian actor and TV presenter, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, best known for his participation in the series of programs “The investigation was carried out…” on NTV.
Because of his bright appearance at the beginning of his career, Leonid Kanevsky often played the roles of negative characters. However, his first significant positive role was in a detective television series in the 70s, where he played Major Alexander Tomin.
The project “The investigation was carried out…” became a real success and popularity on NTV. In this program, Leonid Kanevsky, already as a presenter, talks about the crimes of the period from 1917 to 1991, showing the life and problems of people of that time.
Leonid Kanevsky himself describes his program, which brought him enormous popularity, as follows: “For me, the most important thing is that my main audience today is young people from 15 to 20 years old, sometimes even 12-13 years old.
They write to me and meet me on the street. They are not interested in the crime itself in my program. They are interested in the time in which their mothers, fathers, grandfathers, grandmothers lived.”
