Companies Warner Bros. And Fathom Events announced that the cult trilogy Lord of the Rings will be back on the big screen soon.

Three films Peter Jackson will be shown again in US cinemas in a restored form with 4K resolution – these will be complete director’s cuts. The re-release will begin on June 8 – on this day they will show The Fellowship of the Ring, June 9 – The Two Towers and June 10 – The Return of the King. It is currently unknown whether there are plans Warner Bros. screening of the trilogy in other countries.

Also, 2024 should please fans with an anime film The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim. And not to please with the second season of the series Rings of Power from Amazon.
