Despite the fact that for the most part Manor Lords is made by one person, on the eve of its release the game became the most desired on all of Steam – the project was added to the wishlist https://twitter.com/HoodedHorseInc/status/1782411263915508027.

The hype played a cruel joke on Manor Lords: at the start of early access, Steam discussions were filled with complaints about the high cost – $40 without taking into account the starting discount. Despite this, the project immediately became a sales leader in the Valve store.

Manor Lords invites you to play as a medieval lord and develop your starting village into a large, bustling city. The game is based on Franconian painting and architecture of the late 14th century. The project claims to be historically accurate.

At launch, Manor Lords includes freedom of construction without breaking the map into cells, medieval battles, resource management, a small selection of modes and scenarios, and support for 19 languages (including Russian).

Within a few hours, Manor Lords received more than 800 “very positive” reviews (90%) on Steam – mostly users complain about the lack of content. Meanwhile, peak online play exceeded 138 thousand people.

Manor Lords Early Access has started on Steam, GOG, Microsoft Store and PC Game Pass. Until May 10, the game can be purchased with a 25 percent discount – the price (including the promotion) in the Russian segment of Steam is 1,124 rubles.
