The Lipsar Studio team has published the first gameplay video of the game “Sparta 2035”. This is a turn-based tactics that some compare to the well-known XCOM franchise.
The creators themselves, in the description of the video on YouTube, position their project as follows:
“Sparta 2035 is a turn-based tactical game from the Lipsar studio. The game takes place in Africa, where mercenaries from the Sparta organization help the local president in the fight against militants from the terrorist organization Daamat.”
The release of the game “Sparta 2035” is scheduled for the end of 2024.
Regarding the release of the demo version, they announced the transfer:
“In our difficult, unstable times, it is more important than ever to respect traditions. So we decided to follow one of the unshakable traditions of game development… Friends, we are postponing the release of the demo version!
Seriously, we carefully weighed the pros and cons and decided that quality is more important than speed. We want our players to get from the game exactly the experience that we intend, which means we need more time for polishing, eliminating bugs and other improvements.
However, the postponement does not mean that we have nothing to show. Meet the first gameplay video of Sparta! We invite everyone to watch a cut of various fragments of the gameplay, evaluate our mechanics and art and make sure – we hope! – that it’s worth waiting for the release of our game.”
The project is being created with the financial support of the Internet Development Institute (IRI).
