In July, Europe’s largest electric bus fleet was opened in TiNAO. During this time, electric transport transported almost 300,000 passengers, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow, head of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Maxim Liksutov.
Electric buses have been operating in the capital for four years. But they appeared in new territories relatively recently. Only in the middle of this year we opened the largest park in Europe.
“Today, five electric bus routes operate in TiNAO — No. 17, 871, 873, 874k and 101,” said the deputy mayor. – They connect Troitsk with the nearest settlements, the 101st route goes to the station “Teply Stan”.
In the coming years, it is planned to increase the number of electric machines in TiNAO.
“In 2023, the Krasnaya Pakhra fleet will reach its design capacity — 300 electric buses will run on 26 routes in the TiNAO,” Liksutov added.
It should be noted that the electric bus is a convenient, modern and safe mode of transport. It is almost silent, has a smooth ride, low-floor, which is important for passengers with limited mobility. In addition, it has free Wi-Fi, USB connectors for charging gadgets.
It is also important that the electric bus is also environmentally friendly. Thanks to him, for four years in Moscow, the amount of harmful emissions in the air has significantly decreased, because gasoline is not used in the electric bus. It is fully electric.
