China installs fences and barbed wire on the border with Russia (photo)

In the Chinese urban district of Heihe, which borders the Russian Federation, fences and barbed wire have been installed near the bridge along the Amur River. This is written by the local edition of Biang.

According to journalists, Heihe TV aired an interview with Yang Zhanhong, head of the City People’s Government’s Water Resources Department, during which they demonstrated the installed fences at the bridge along the Amur River.

The publication notes that there was no barbed wire before the bridge was put into operation. In this regard, as journalists suggest, special fences could be installed in order to prevent possible attempts to violate the state border by Russia.

During a conversation with television representatives, Yang Zhanhong said that the water industry has completed the installation of flood protection facilities in the area of ​​the village of Changfacun, which is located in the area of ​​​​the automobile bridge across the Amur River. According to a Chinese official, the construction of the fences was sponsored by investments.

In addition, a system of water shields was installed on a fortification dam near the bridge from China, which allows controlling the water level in the river in case of floods.

It is worth noting that the Heihe urban district is located on the banks of the Amur River – opposite the Russian city of Blagoveshchensk. China is connected with the territory of the Russian Federation by regular river traffic and a road bridge.
