Murmansk scientific readings have started in the Murmansk region. The event is held by the regional museum of local lore and is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the region.
More than 30 specialists from the Murmansk region, Komi, Arkhangelsk, Voronezh, St. Petersburg and Moscow take part in the readings. Reports are made by employees of the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Admiral S.O. Makarov, St. Petersburg State University, Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, Air Force Academy named after Professor N.E. Zhukovsky and Yu.A. Gagarin and other scientific organizations.
This year, the readings are devoted to the specifics of the development of the Arctic territories, the natural and cultural heritage of the Kola North, the development of the Arctic and the development of industry in the region. As a result of scientific events, a collection of reports will be published, the Ministry of Culture of the Murmansk Region reports.
Broadcasts of Murmansk scientific readings are conducted in the group of the regional museum of local lore.
