The deputy head of the Novorogachinsky urban settlement of the Gorodishchensky district was fined for violating the procedure for citizens’ appeals. As reported to V102.RU by the prosecutor’s office of the Volgograd region, on April 28, 2023, a resident contacted the administration regarding the littering of the territory included in the urban settlement with garbage, as well as in connection with artificial fences disturbing residents.

However, the woman did not receive a response to her appeal within the 30-day period required by law. They answered her only two months later, and even then only after the start of the prosecutor’s investigation.

By a resolution of the magistrate of judicial district No. 28 of the Gorodishchensky judicial district of the Volgograd region, the deputy head of the Novorogachinsky urban settlement was found guilty of committing the specified administrative offense and was sentenced to a fine of 5 thousand rubles. After the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, the woman’s appeal was finally considered on its merits.
