The friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Cuba will be taken into account in the rankings of the International Football Federation (FIFA), RIA Novosti reports.
The game will take place on Monday, November 20, at the stadium in Volgograd.
“The meeting with the Cuban national team will be taken into account in the FIFA rankings. Six substitutions will be allowed per match,” the communications service of the Russian Football Union (RFU) said.
This match will be the third home match for the national team after being suspended from international competitions in the winter of 2022. On March 26, Valery Karpin’s team beat the Iraqi team in St. Petersburg (2:0), and on October 12 in Moscow they defeated Cameroon (1:0).
Earlier it was reported that Zenit players as part of the Russian national team delegation laid flowers on Mamayev Kurgan.
