Last week, a 31-year-old resident of Omsk, who has been tried more than once for property crimes, again broke the law.

He entered a Kurgan store at night, stole 8 thousand rubles from the cash register and disappeared. Operatives detained him in Chelyabinsk, reports the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kurgan Region.

Now the man is a defendant in a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, risking imprisonment for up to five years. He was taken into custody.
