The youth forum “Generation” was held at the Vetoshny Hall in Moscow, organized by the Y Club business club with the support of the Roscongress Foundation and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).

More than 500 young entrepreneurs, representatives of large companies and non-profit organizations took part in the business forum. At the site they had the opportunity to find new business partners and like-minded people, as well as receive advice from experts. In addition, throughout the event, young people could apply for residency in the Y Club business community.

According to the head of the ASI Center for Youth Initiatives, Alexander Vaino, the forum allows young people to learn more about the experience of the country’s leading entrepreneurs. “Youth is becoming the new oil, the new gold for the Russian economy. The forum is aimed at giving young entrepreneurs a value guideline for achieving their goals and unlocking their potential in the most effective way,” emphasized Alexander Vaino.

The speakers of the event were the founder and CEO of Wildberries Tatyana Bakalchuk, the chairman of the board of Tinkoff Bank Stanislav Bliznyuk, the deputy director of Gazprom-Media Holding, the director of the TNT TV channel Tina Kandelaki, as well as restaurateur and founder of the Pinskiy&Co holding Anton Pinsky. Producer and director Fyodor Bondarchuk also delivered a welcoming speech.

Tatyana Bakalchuk highlighted significant qualities for potential Wildberries employees: professionalism, willingness to lead and develop projects, as well as openness to new things. Stanislav Bliznyuk, in turn, spoke about new ways to find employees and opportunities for training young entrepreneurs – the launch of his own Tinkoff University. In the fall of this year, the first master’s degree students enrolled in IT specialties. Anton Pinsky shared with the participants the advantages of business development using a partnership model, and Tina Kandelaki shared the principles of a productive leader.

According to one of the forum organizers, founder of the Y Club community Ilya Matros, one of the main issues for any beginning entrepreneur concerns finding new partners and expanding the network of contacts. This is exactly the problem that the “Generation” forum solves, and “Y Club” was created for this purpose. “We are focused on providing entrepreneurs with opportunities for development and growth. Our residents participate in major business events in the country – St. Petersburg and Eastern Economic Forums,” said Ilya Matros.

“Y Club” is a business community of young entrepreneurs, founded in early 2023 by the Roscongress Foundation and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Residents of the community are successful entrepreneurs and top managers under 35 years old, whose average turnover is more than 150 million rubles. Community members have access to meetings with successful entrepreneurs, top managers of large companies and representatives of the public sector, strategic sessions with experts, visits to leading Russian enterprises, as well as business missions to friendly countries.
