The incident occurred on November 10 in one of the bars in Kostroma. According to the investigation, a conflict arose between two visitors while drinking alcohol. The men went outside, where they continued to sort things out among themselves. As a result, one of them beat his enemy and then fled the scene of the crime. The 35-year-old victim was taken to hospital, where he died from a head injury. Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under the article “Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, dangerous to human life, resulting in the death of the victim through negligence.”
As a result of the joint actions of investigators and criminologists from the regional Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, as well as police officers, the crime was solved. The suspect has been detained. He turned out to be a previously convicted 36-year-old man.
Now investigative and procedural actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed. At the request of the investigator, the suspect was taken into custody.
