In Volgograd, details about a patient who died from coronavirus have become known. The federal portal Stopcoronavirus recorded a death in the week from November 13 to 19.
The death of a man born in 1952 was confirmed by the Volgograd Region Health Committee.
After detecting symptoms and making a diagnosis, the patient was hospitalized at Volgograd Regional Clinical Infection Hospital No. 1.
“Despite the assistance provided, the patient’s condition progressively worsened, and the disease ended in death. Let us note that the patient suffered from chronic diseases of the cardiovascular and digestive systems, the regional health department reported.
Over the past week, 93 patients died from coronavirus and its consequences in the country, five of them from the Southern Federal District. In addition to Volgograd, Covid has collected its death toll in Krasnodar and Sevastopol. Three patients died there within a week.
