Yaroslavl City Hall saved a million rubles when purchasing a city New Year tree – Yarreg

The Yaroslavl City Hall managed to save a million rubles on the purchase of a city New Year tree. At the auction, the initial, maximum, amount was 4.9 million.

“The price was formed based on requests for commercial proposals. The auction took place, we are purchasing a Christmas tree for 3.9 million rubles. As a result, we saved a million rubles. Today we are concluding a purchase agreement, and by December 15 our Christmas tree will arrive in Yaroslavl. The Christmas tree fully complies with the technical specifications,” said Deputy Mayor for Social and Economic Development of the city Elena Gudkevich.

Artem Molchanov noted that the price reduction should not affect the quality. The holiday tree will be used in the city for several years.

“This is a long-term acquisition for Yaroslavl, which should be a worthy decoration of our central city square,” the mayor emphasized.
