Electronic scoreboards will appear in ten locations

For the convenience of citizens and guests of the city using public transport, electronic displays with information about the predicted arrival of buses at the stop will be installed in some bus stops in Kurgan in the near future, the press service of the municipality reports.

According to the Department of Urban Development, a competition has now been held and a contractor has been identified for the installation and equipment of electronic information boards at ten stop points of the municipal route network of the city of Kurgan:

• “Cinema “Russia” – st. Gogol, 42;
• “Cinema “Russia” – st. Gogol, 37;
• “Central Market” – st. Proletarskaya, 12;
• “Central Market” – st. Kuibysheva, 74;
• “Central Market” – st. Kuibysheva, 103;
• “Vokzal” – pl. Slosmana, 6;
• “Vokzal” – st. Stationnaya, 12;
• “TC Nekrasovsky” – Mashinostroiteley Ave., 2;
• “TC Nekrasovsky” – Mashinostroiteley Ave., building 3a;
• “st. Ilizarov” – 6th microdistrict, 1.

As Andrey Pleshkov, director of the city development department, said, electronic displays will help city residents track specific arrival stops on their route in real time, which is very convenient. “You can track it using mobile applications. This is the website of the city Transport Department, Yandex and 2GIS platforms. However, for some reasons, not all citizens, especially older residents, are comfortable with mobile applications. And here everything will be clearly visible on electronic displays,” explained Andrey Pleshkov.

Please note that the electronic display will display the date, time, air temperature, minutes before the bus arrives and its number. There will be a total of seven lines on the screen. The bottom line is designed to display information in the form of a “creeping line”.

Taking into account the supply of power, laying a dedicated Internet network, commissioning work, the launch date for the display is the first ten days of December of the current year.
