As part of the national project “Education”, the “Eaglets of Russia” program has been implemented in our country since September 2021. It is aimed at developing socially significant values among primary school students. These are concepts such as Motherland, team, family, health, nature, knowledge. From November 16 to 19, the “Eaglets of Russia” rally took place in the Samara region. Our province received delegations from 16 regions of the Volga Federal District. For three days, teachers, advisors to education directors and high school students developed a team approach to implementing the program, exchanged experience, and expanded their knowledge.

On Saturday, November 18, at school No. 68, a new modern educational institution in the New Samara microdistrict, a quest game was held for primary school teachers who came to the rally. The participants were divided into teams and performed tasks at stations, which were named after the tracks of the “Eaglets of Russia” program. Samara teachers of additional education organized master classes there – they showed what forms and methods can be used when working with children in these areas, in particular, focusing them on collective creativity. The program contains seven tracks: “Eaglet – Leader”, “Eaglet – Keeper of Historical Memory”, “Eaglet – Master”, “Eaglet – Erudite”, “Eaglet – Athlete”, “Eaglet – Volunteer”, “Eaglet – Ecologist”.

Ten minutes were given to complete each station. Thus, on the track “Eaglet – Athlete” they talked about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, about the All-Russian complex “Ready for Labor and Defense”, about how to involve children and their parents in sports, including through outdoor games and family relay races. The teachers tried to meet the GTO standards for bending over from a bench with straight legs and standing long jump. At the Orlyonok-Erudite station they did neurogymnastics exercises. They are aimed at activating the natural mechanisms of the brain and are useful for everyone who has difficulties in perceiving, remembering information, concentrating, fatigue, and motor skills disorders.

At the Orlyonok – Keeper of Historical Memory station, teachers made houses out of paper and painted a cozy atmosphere. By doing this work with children, teachers can talk with them about the warmth of the hearth, family values, traditions, and about the Motherland as a big family. At the finale of the rally, the participants placed their crafts on the map of Russia, showing how different, colorful and at the same time friendly our country is.
“In Samara, every school implements this program from first to fourth grade,” noted the director of school No. 163, which is the flagship for the implementation of the “Eaglets of Russia” program in the Samara region, Elena Fen. — In October-November of this year, all first-graders were solemnly accepted into eaglets.
