In the Astrakhan region, every twelfth person receives a salary of more than 100 thousand

The Astrakhan region has become the leader in the south of Russia in terms of the share of workers with high salaries, overtaking Krasnodar and Rostov.

8.4% of employees receive a salary of more than 100 thousand. This is evidenced by the data provided in the RIA Novosti salary rating. In Russia, the Astrakhan region ranks 33rd.

The second and third places among the southern regions are occupied by the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region, respectively. Here, 6.4 and 6.1% of workers receive one hundred thousand a month.

Experts also calculated what percentage of the regional population receives a salary below 20 thousand rubles. In our region this is every fifth – 21.7%. On average, residents receive in the range from 22 to 54 thousand rubles.

As expected, the leaders in high salaries were the northern regions – Chukotka, Magadan and Yamal. Here, approximately half of the working population receives a salary of hundreds of rubles a month.
