Are the wild 90s returning to Kaliningrad? It seems so. On Monday, November 20, 2023, a brutal beating took place in the city center.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Kaliningrad region, three men, hiding their faces behind balaclavas, first damaged a Lexus car, and then pulled a 45-year-old man out of it by force and began to beat him severely. His wife remained in the car.

The victim is in the hospital with a closed head injury, concussion, head and chest wounds.

A criminal case has been opened for causing moderate harm to health. The police are searching for the criminals.

According to Amber Mash, the victim is former lawyer Anton Zaritsky, who was sentenced in September 2023 for threatening to kill.
