The State Labor Inspectorate is investigating the death of a worker at the construction site of an ice palace in Nizhny Novgorod, according to the Telegram channel of the supervisory agency.

Let us remind you that the accident occurred on Strelka last Saturday, November 18th. At about 15:00, a 32-year-old man, while on scaffolding at a height of approximately four to five meters, fell on the reinforcement. The victim received multiple injuries from which he died.

Labor inspectors are finding out why the worker fell off the scaffolding and who is to blame.

By the way, this is the second tragic incident at the ice palace construction site. We talked about the first one in May 2023. Then the worker was crushed under a concrete slab.
