In the Chelyabinsk village of Kashtak, due to constant power outages, they are planning to build a backup power supply line.

According to information announced by the Chelyabinsk administration, currently, in order to ensure uninterrupted operation of electricity in the village, work is underway to determine the connection point for the backup power supply line.

Currently, the damage to the networks has been repaired, the press center of the Chelyabinsk Region Prosecutor’s Office reports today, November 21.

Also, the regional supervisory agency announced the results of an audit carried out by the prosecutor’s office of the Metallurgical District on media publications about repeated power outages in Kashtak:

“Due to improper fulfillment of the obligation to maintain electrical networks and ensure uninterrupted power supply to consumers, the district prosecutor’s office submitted a proposal to the director of the Kommet municipal unitary enterprise to eliminate violations of the law. A case was initiated against the chief engineer of the enterprise for an administrative offense under Article 7.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of standards for the provision of public utilities to the population.”

The situation continues to be under the control of the Metallurgical District Prosecutor’s Office.
