The draft regional budget for 2024 and for the planning period 2025 and 2026 passed public hearings. More than 160 proposals were received from Lipetsk residents. Governor Igor Artamonov will consider them.
The volume of regional budget revenues for 2024 is set at over 88 billion rubles, expenses – 104 billion rubles. The deficit will be 16 billion rubles.
The hearing participants overwhelmingly supported the draft budget. At the same time, the regional government is recommended to find the possibility of allocating additional funds in a number of areas.
It is proposed to increase funding for capital repairs of schools and development of rural areas, as well as allocate additional
funds for social payments for the purchase and construction of housing under housing programs. Issues such as purchasing apartments or payments for orphans will be considered. At the same time, it is recommended to index the payments and benefits provided for by our legislation for preferential categories of citizens.
“Support for the participants of the special military operation and their families will remain a priority in the work of the legislative and executive authorities. We will work together to implement a unified federal standard for such support measures and establish new forms,” said regional council speaker Vladimir Serikov
