Airlines in Russia were advised to disembark people at high temperatures in the aircraft cabin, Izvestia reports with reference to Rostransnadzor.

Russian legislation does not have requirements for the air temperature on board an aircraft, therefore the head of the State Aviation Supervision Authority, Vladimir Kovalsky, ordered the use of the current sanitary and epidemiological requirements for transport, approved by the chief state sanitary doctor of Russia, according to which the air temperature in the passenger cabin of an aircraft should be within 20– 25 degrees.

Rostransnadzor also asked carriers to exclude passengers from boarding aircraft in which the air temperature exceeds permissible values. If after landing it is impossible to maintain such a temperature for any reason, then people should immediately disembark at the airport terminal.
