A traffic accident in the Traktorozavodsky district of Volgograd, as a result of which four students from school No. 1 ended up in the hospital, was recorded by the recorder of one of the cars traveling in the opposite direction. A video showing a Renault Duster driven by a 36-year-old woman hitting children was published on April 24 by the Online34 telegram channel. The footage clearly shows that two teenagers literally found themselves under the wheels of the crossover, two others were hit tangentially and were immediately able to crawl to the side of the road.
Let us remind you that a terrible accident occurred at the intersection of Opolchenkskaya and Andreeva streets on April 11 at about 10.00. The police have already established that the driver of the Renault Duster drove through the intersection when the traffic light turned red, and the children ran out onto the roadway when it turned green. At that moment, the woman hit the teenagers, each of whom was 12 years old. Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd Region have opened a criminal case regarding this fact.
As previously reported by the Height 102 news agency, the first at the scene of the accident were employees of the Russian National Guard, and they provided first aid to the children. Currently, according to the latest data from the Volgograd regional health service, two children have already been discharged from the hospital, another child is being treated at Hospital No. 7 in Volgograd, and the most injured girl, by decision of doctors, was transferred to the federal center in Moscow.
