In Samara, the May Day procession in 2024 was canceled. The decision was made at the state level due to a special situation, KP-Samara reports. This was stated by the Chairman of the Samara Provincial Duma Gennady Kotelnikov at the meeting on April 23.
“This year there will be no May Day demonstration, therefore there will be no our march. All this is connected with a special situation. This decision was made at the state level“, said Gennady Kotelnikov.
It should be noted that earlier the organizers of the “Immortal Regiment” event in Russia announced the cancellation of the offline format of the event in 2024 due to security reasons.
