The new distribution center will be located in the Novousmansky district. The words of the publication’s source were confirmed by the head of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of the Voronezh Region, Sergei Korchevnikov.
He said that investments in the construction of the facility will amount to 5 billion rubles. It is planned to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2025.
It should be noted that in November last year, Ozon launched the first stage of a new fulfillment center (implies a range of logistics services performed outsourced) in the village of Aleksandrovka, Novousmansky district. The company’s investments in equipment and IT infrastructure amounted to 3.4 billion rubles. In 2025, it is planned to expand the center to 35 thousand square meters. m, then the volume of goods placement will increase to 19 million. This will allow processing 570 thousand orders daily.
