EcoProm-Lipetsk complied with the warning of the antimonopoly authority. Consumers were recalculated for unprovided utility services.

We would like to remind you that earlier the Lipetsk OFAS Russia issued a warning to EcoProm-Lipetsk JSC to stop abuse of a dominant position. The company had to recalculate to consumers taking into account the actual frequency of garbage collection in the period December 2023 – January 2024. The regional operator did not fulfill the terms of the contract for the provision of services for the management of solid waste in relation to a number of container sites in the city of Lipetsk, Khlevensky and Zadonsky districts.

“More than 47 thousand consumer consumers and 29 legal entities received recalculation of fees for violations of the procedure for providing utility services. Its amount amounted to more than 1.5 million rubles,” the Lipetsk OFAS reported.

EcoProm also announced the restoration of the waste removal schedule and the adoption of measures to prevent its violation in the future. Thus, there are no grounds to initiate a case.

EcoProm-Lipetsk has a fleet of special equipment, a plant for sorting and briquetting MSW, and a landfill. Based on a competitive selection, the company was selected as a regional operator for the management of MSW in the Central zone of the Lipetsk region, which includes the city of Lipetsk, Lipetsk, Zadonsky and Khlevensky districts.
