More than 1100 kickboxers from the regions of Russia, Algeria, Azerbaijan and Belarus came to the Open Cup in Ulyanovsk

Governor Alexey Russkikh announces the opening of the Russian Kickboxing Cup in the Ulyanovsk region.

For the first time, more than 1,100 athletes from 44 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as from Algeria, Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus, gathered in our region.

More than a hundred athletes represent our region at competitions.

Experienced, famous kickboxers and young talents will take part in the competition.

Alexey Russkikh reminded that more than 3 thousand residents of our region are engaged in this type of martial arts.

− For the Ulyanovsk region, kickboxing is a dynamically developing sport, − says the head of the region.

In 2023, the opening of a modern martial arts palace took place in Ulyanovsk.
