Activists of the Chelyabinsk search party are looking for relatives of the cadet pilot Dmitry Aleksandrovich Tarasov, who died during the Great Patriotic War during training flights. The guy’s parents lived in Ivanovo.

As search party activist Roza Fattakhova reported, Dmitry Tarasov served in the Chelyabinsk Military Aviation School of navigators and gunners-radio operators of long-range aviation. In the book “History of the Chelyabinsk Higher Military Aviation School of Red Banner Navigators” there is an entry: “On October 7, 1943, in the area of ​​the airfield, pilot instructor Jr. died in a plane crash. Lieutenant Martyshkin Vasily Mikhailovich, born in 1922. and cadet navigator Dmitry Alexandrovich Tarasov, born in 1925.”

According to the detachment, the pilot’s parents lived in Ivanovo. Mother – Serebrova-Sokolova Nina Vasilievna (03/04/1900 – 04/02/1987), in recent years she lived in a boarding house in the village of Bogorodskoye. Father – Alexander Yakovlevich Tarasov (04/12/1897 – 01/18/1971) worked as an engineer at one of the Ivanovo factories. Since 1955 they lived in Ivanovo on Prostornaya Street, 5.
