Footage of the incident appeared on social networks in Kostroma. Eyewitnesses reported that two drivers of buses No. 14 and No. 17 began to sort things out after the driver of bus No. 17 created an emergency at one of the stops. Having reached the next one, No. 17 blocked the path of No. 14. This time both drivers came to blows. When the driver of bus No. 14 was about to return to his workplace and turned his back, the driver of bus No. 17 started a fight. Passengers began to separate the fighters.

It also became known the day before that, following a report of the incident, the investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kostroma Region began a procedural investigation into hooliganism. Now the regional investigative committee has opened a criminal case against the driver of bus No. 17, a 40-year-old native of the Republic of Dagestan. The suspect has been detained until all the circumstances of the incident are clarified.
