The governor of the Murmansk region instructed the leadership of Severomorsk, regional departments and law enforcement agencies to deal with the outages of elevators in a number of houses in the closed administrative city.
Residents of Severomorsk began complaining on social networks the day before about mass shutdowns and interruptions in the operation of elevators.
– When contacting the control room of Interlift LLC, the answer was given that the elevator was stopped. For clarification, you must contact your management company.
I dare to suggest that the management company “Korabelnaya” simply did not pay for the services for servicing the elevators. The elevator must work. I pay for this regularly. And the above-mentioned organizations can bring disputes over who owes whom what for what, to each other, for example, through the court, Tatyana Panova wrote in the local public page “Severomorsk Online”.

Andrei Chibis at a government retreat called the situation “redistribution of property in the elevator industry” and pointed out its inadmissibility.
– Taking advantage of the fact that we have law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor’s office in touch, I would like to note that shutting down and, especially, damaging elevators is definitely the subject of criminal proceedings. I kindly ask my colleagues in the security bloc to get involved, as far as I know, the statement has already been written. I don’t even want to delve into the showdown between business entities, it’s a disgrace. This is a question of the safety of people – children, the elderly, the disabled,” he said.
A legal assessment of the actions of utility workers will be given by the prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
