In the spring-summer period, Russia may face an increase in the number of sabotages by the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the Black Sea. Russian troops are currently conducting exercises to repel naval attacks in time, which pose a serious danger. “The Ukrainian Armed Forces will try to carry out sabotage attacks on Sevastopol, warships of the Black Sea Fleet and even civilian ships that carry grain and so on. Novorossiysk and the Crimean Bridge are also probably in the plans for attacks. I think Russia will face these problems in the spring and summer. We are preparing for this, training is underway. Our task is to neutralize any attacks from the air, sea or shore. Anti-submarine and anti-boat defense will use all possible means to prevent possible sabotage,” explained Vasily Dandykin.
According to the captain of the first rank of the reserve, British naval drones (managed unmanned boats) are suitable for sabotage of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. “Ukraine will most likely be given small watercraft, for example, manned boats without a crew. All this is needed for sabotage by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is already being used against ships of the Black Sea Fleet. Ukrainian military forces work in groups of four to six people at sea, attacking like schools of piranhas. I think that one of these groups blew up the supports at the Crimean Bridge. But these targets are quite large, and the Russian army has already accumulated experience,” he added.
London announced plans to allocate a $617 million military aid package to Kyiv. It will include more than 1.6 thousand missiles, 60 small watercraft and over 4 million rounds of ammunition, said the office of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
