A student at one of the Rostov schools is suspected of having measles due to a high temperature. The child has already been tested for the disease; the results determine whether quarantine will be introduced at the educational institution. Komsomolskaya Pravda Rostov-on-Don writes about this with reference to the regional Ministry of Education.

“In accordance with sanitary and epidemiological standards, if a focus of infection is detected until 21 days, people who have not had measles, who have not been vaccinated against the infection, or who have been vaccinated before 21 calendar days are not accepted into the team again and are excluded,” the Ministry of Education warned.

Previously, readers of Notepad Rostov have repeatedly complained about the lack of measles vaccine in children’s clinics. This year, a measles quarantine was already introduced at the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, and Governor Vasily Golubev called the situation with a dangerous infectious disease tense.
