According to the website ER.ru, the party collected 13 billion rubles to help the front. The results of the work of the humanitarian headquarters of United Russia over two years were summed up at a meeting with the participation of the secretary of the party’s General Council Andrey Turchak.
“Since the beginning of the Northern Military District, the regional branches of United Russia have collected and delivered more than 110 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to new regions. Almost 13 billion rubles have been collected and allocated for the purchase of cars, drones, communications equipment, electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems, thermal imagers, equipment for our fighters,” noted the Secretary of the General Council.
Andrei Turchak noted that United Russia sent more than 1.5 thousand children from Donbass, Novorossiya and the Belgorod region for treatment and rehabilitation.
“In the new regions, 12 children’s leisure centers of United Russia have also been opened. Together with the Young Guard and the We Don’t Abandon Our Own Foundation, the party is working in medical institutions. Hundreds of our medical troops worked in front-line and front-line hospitals, provided assistance to the wounded, medical Hundreds of tons of medical and rehabilitation equipment and medicines have been delivered to workers,” said the Secretary of the General Council.
The help didn’t stop there. According to the head of staff, vice speaker of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova, in the Belgorod region the party created a medical and psychological rehabilitation program for children. In addition, more than 500 children and their legal representatives from front-line cities and towns, members of military families were sent to rest and restore their health in the Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory, Moscow, Moscow Region and other regions.
Volunteer doctors provide significant assistance in the work.
“Many people cannot receive medical care at their place of residence. Together with doctors, we regularly travel to new regions, carry out full diagnostics, then, thanks to the FMBA and the Russian Ministry of Health, we take people out for treatment,” noted Anna Kuznetsova.
In addition to children, United Russia also supports elderly residents of new regions. Party volunteers continue to work in temporary temporary detention centers, where they deliver household appliances, medicines and medical equipment.
“ER” does not cease to help the front. For example, on the basis of the Center for Unmanned Systems, which was created with the support of United Russia and the Our Pravda Foundation, the production of Skvorets FPV drones was organized.
“Thousands of Skvortsov have already been handed over to the troops and helped save many lives of our guys,” said Andrei Turchak.
Head of the central executive committee of the party Alexander Sidyakin noted that in the near future two thousand more Starlings will be sent to the fighters.
“During the humanitarian mission, we transfer vehicles, reconnaissance, walkie-talkies, thermal imagers, and boats to the front. We try to distribute the aid evenly so that it goes to various formations of different types of troops along the entire line of combat contact,” he added.
Representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the FMBA noted the contribution of United Russia to providing residents of new regions with humanitarian aid. Deputy Head of the National Defense Management Center Oleg Iskuskov emphasized that the party pays great attention to supporting the participants of the Northern Military District, combat veterans, solving social issues and problems of their family members.
Andrey Turchak thanked the participants of the humanitarian headquarters, which included public organizations, businesses, charitable foundations, volunteers from MGER, Volunteer Company, and partner organizations.
“Special words of gratitude to the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Even before the start of the Northern Military District, we launched a joint humanitarian mission. Thanks to the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency,” said the Secretary of the General Council.
In conclusion, he emphasized that the humanitarian headquarters of United Russia will work until the Victory and the complete restoration of peaceful life in new regions.
“On the part of United Russia, of course, we have provided and will continue to provide support,” concluded Andrei Turchak.
As noted in the party, the humanitarian headquarters of United Russia was created on April 28, 2022. It operates as a single coordination center and deals with a wide range of issues from logistics for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the harmonization of the laws of Russia and the LDPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions and assistance in the implementation of the party’s popular program in new regions.
From the first days of the special military operation, the Sakhalin regional branch of the party was included in the humanitarian agenda.
“I remember how we collected help for refugees located in Rostov. Then, when a channel for helping soldiers was established, we launched the “Complicity” project and within its framework we collect from 40 to 80 tons of cargo monthly. It includes parcels for soldiers, medicines for hospitals and targeted first aid kits, clothing and food. Also, thanks to active citizens, we send various special equipment and uniforms (repeaters, bulletproof vests, shoes, walkie-talkies) every month. Just yesterday, humanitarian cargo from the Sakhalin region arrived in the territory of the sponsored Shakhtersk: about 50 tons will be sent to the front line, and some – to the residents of Artyomovsk,” said the first deputy head of the REC of the Sakhalin regional branch of the United Russia party, head of the Sakhalin regional branch of the Young Guard of United Russia, Elena Krasilnikova.
