Artists will decorate the walls of children’s hospitals in Kirovsk with drawings of Lake Baikal

Artists from Irkutsk will transform the walls of children’s medical institutions in the city of Kirovsk into a bright and inspiring space. Drawings dedicated to the beauty of Lake Baikal will decorate the corridors and waiting areas, the regional government reports.

The transformation of hospital walls was a continuation of the successful practice previously implemented in medical institutions of the Irkutsk region. According to reviews from young patients and their parents, colorful drawings create a positive atmosphere and distract from unpleasant procedures.

Let us recall that the cooperation agreement between Kirov and the Irkutsk region was concluded in August 2022. Medical workers and nurses regularly travel from the Angara region to work in medical institutions in Kirov. The day before, a surgeon, traumatologist and anesthesiologist returned from a business trip.
