In Ulyanovsk, the security of citizens will be strengthened for the May holidays

The city administration reported that during the May holidays measures will be taken to enhance the safety of citizens.

On May 1, a procession and rally will be held in Ulyanovsk in honor of Spring and Labor Day. Security measures will be strengthened in the city center and in the area adjacent to the “City of Labor Valor” stela.

On May 9, fencing will be installed and arched metal detectors will be placed around Cathedral Square, where ceremonial events are being organized, in adjacent areas of Kuznetsova Street, Krasnoznamenny and Troitsky lanes and on the esplanade.

People’s vigilantes will help the police maintain order on the streets during the holidays.
