Travel along Frunze Avenue near the regional market of Tomsk will be blocked for 1.5 days

TOMSK, April 24 – RIA Tomsk. The section of Frunze Avenue between Angarsky Lane and Sovkhoznaya Street will be closed to traffic from the evening of April 27 to noon of April 29; at the specified time, TomskRTS employees will carry out excavations and replace worn-out pipes of the heating main, the company’s press service reported on Wednesday.

It is clarified that the Tomsk authorities have agreed on the next excavations on Frunze Avenue, taking into account the schedule for repairing the road network. This coming weekend, TomskRTS specialists will have to replace about 50 meters of worn-out pipelines of heating main No. 3.

“During the work on relaying heating networks, from 20:00 on Saturday, April 27, until 12:00 on Monday, April 29, vehicle traffic along Frunze Avenue will be blocked in the area from Angarsky Lane to Sovkhoznaya Street,” the message says.

The press service recalled that in April 2024, the company had already replaced four crossings of heating mains under Frunze Avenue. The planned work will be the last on this road this year.

“In total, in 2024, TomskRTS specialists will replace eight crossings of heating networks under roadways included in the current year’s improvement plan under the national project “Safe Quality Roads,” the message adds.
