A survey among parents of Chelyabinsk graduates was conducted by the Superjob service. A third of respondents said that their children, after finishing 11th grade, plan to receive higher education in the field of IT technologies. The second most popular area is engineering (16%).
In third place were specialties in the field of fundamental or applied science (10%). The children of 8% of respondents want to become teachers. 6% of parents reported that their children would study to become doctors.
Among 9th grade graduates, IT technologies also became the most popular field. 26% of respondents plan to receive education in this area. In second place is the pedagogical direction (16%). 13% of parents of 9th graders said that their children want to become doctors.
