At Moscow State Medical University named after. THEM. Sechenov Ministry of Health of Russia held an open city scientific and practical conference “Start into Medicine”. The winner of the competition was Ksenia Kukueva, a student of the Lipetsk Quantorium.

In 16 sections, schoolchildren shared the results of their research and developments on human safety and health, psychology, pharmaceuticals, medicine, chemistry, genetics, zoology, and ecology. A schoolgirl from Lipetsk became the winner in the “Chemistry in Pharmacy and Medicine” section.

Ksenia investigated the possibility of alternative use of sugar beet pulp to obtain sorption materials used in medicine.
