Children’s playgrounds are being prepared for summer in the parks of Veliky Novgorod

Specialists from Veliky Novgorod Parks began checking the equipment installed on embankment playgrounds and recreation areas.

The mayor of Veliky Novgorod announced this Alexander Rozbaum.

“We conducted an inspection of exercise equipment, rope courses, rubber surfaces and benches. Our playgrounds should be comfortable and safe,” the mayor said.

A city resident approached the mayor with a question about the condition of the Birch Grove park, which is located in the Pskov microdistrict. She said that there were a lot of fallen tiles on the playground, abandoned pallets of nails, remains of cement, cut down trees, roots, and bushes.

The administration of Veliky Novgorod responded that specialists would go to the site to check. Based on its results, the information will be transferred to Gorkhoz.
